Campania named Top Decorative Supplier by ECGC

For the fourth time in seven years, Campania International was awarded the ECGC Award of Excellence. The company was also recognized as the top decorative supplier by this group of top tier independent garden centers in 2002, 2003 and 2005.

Ellen May, executive director of ECGC Distributors, said Campania’s commitment to customer service and quality craftsmanship made the company the “clear winner” for 2008. Russell Ireland III of Martin Viette Nurseries presented the ECGC award to Campania CEO Glenn Appel during the recent AmericasMart Gift & Home Show in Atlanta.

According to Ireland, Campania is one of the top garden accents manufacturers in the country. “They are dedicated to offering high quality products with beautiful designs and outstanding customer service,” Ireland said.

Nursery buyers from each of the ECGC organizations agreed. Campania was selected from some 90 candidates judged on product quality, customer service and partnership marketing.

“ECGC members are among the most successful garden centers in the country and are the benchmark for the industry,” Compania CEO Appel said. “This award is a tribute to the team work of our entire staff, from our designers to our sales support staff.”
