Capel Rugs, America's oldest and largest privately-owned rug manufacturer and importer, has opened two state-of-the-art rug galleries, significantly expanding the company's footprint in the South and Midwest.
The opening of the galleries in Edmond, Okla., and El Paso, Texas, marks the one-year anniversary of Vice President of Marketing Bud Young's announcement of Capel's gallery expansion program. As a result of the program, Capel has opened a total of four new galleries across the nation within the last year.
"More than a year of hard work is coming to fruition with the opening of these galleries, and we are incredibly pleased with the results," Young said. "We anticipate a significant expansion in our consumer base and we are energized to increase the availability of our product. We look forward to a mutually satisfying relationship with each of these galleries."
According to Young, Capel galleries have a proven record of increasing traffic, expanding the customer base, driving consumer interest and generating significant profits for retailers. Capel works with new galleries every step of the way, providing complete promotional packages as well as advertising and marketing support. Capel also assists galleries in planning gala grand openings to generate excitement around the new galleries.
The Casa Bella Home Furnishings gallery opened Sept. 15 in El Paso, Texas. The Countrywide Flooring and Area Rugs gallery opened Sept. 1 in Edmond, Okla. Throughout the course of the opening week, local customers were introduced to Capel's industry-leading product lines with purchasing incentives, product discounts and complimentary, personalized design consultations.
