Morris joins Whitecraft as vice president of sales

Responsibilities will include contract and hospitality sales

-- Casual Living, 6/18/2008 7:48:00 AM

Casual furniture manufacturer Whitecraft has hired industry veteran David Morris Jr., as vice president of sales. Morris will be responsible for the management of all company sales activities including contract and hospitality, as well as organizing and managing the sales team.

“We are pleased to have someone with David’s experience on board.  He has established relationships with stores from large to small, and believes in personal contact with each,” said Manuel Dizon, chairman of Whitecraft. “Our retailers will greatly benefit from his management style which will create connections and provide better, more efficient communication between their stores and Whitecraft. Plus his logistics background will be a huge asset in providing solutions and service for improved operations.”

Morris has served in senior level positions with lighting and furniture manufacturers. Most recently he was responsible for national accounts for a contemporary and transitional home furnishings manufacturer.
