Weave Corp. unveils Weatherwize

Staff -- Casual Living, 4/1/2005 12:00:00 AM

Weave Corp. has introduced Weatherwize, a collection that combines the look and feel of fine interior fabrics with everything expected in an outdoor fabric, including resistance to food, water, wine, sun rays and anything Mother Nature will throw its way.

"We originally designed Weatherwize as an outdoor fabric, but since it's the only outdoor fabric made from 100% enhanced polyester, it carries an elegant look and soft feel, making it more attractive to the high-end consumer who's looking to take the luxury and comfort of the indoors outside," said Roger Berkley, president of Weave Corporation. "Because it is manufactured exclusively in our U.S.-based mill using our unique dying and jacquard weaving processes, we can offer timely delivery of Weatherwize in an array of custom patterns and colors in virtually any quantity."

As a result of Weave's dying and weaving technologies, Weatherwize comes with a three-year limited warranty against fading.

A jacquard weave, Weatherwize is breathable and supple, yet patterns are highly resistant to pilling and abrasion. All Weatherwize fabrics possess antibacterial and antimicrobial characteristics so even long-term exposure to nature's harsh elements, including moisture, heat and humidity, won't lead to the growth of mildew and fungi. Easy to clean, spills wipe up with warm water and a mild detergent.

Manufacturers and jobbers interested in learning more about Weatherwize or to request product samples can contact Glenn Dragone at Weave Corporation, 212-921-8757 or glenn@weavecorp.com.

Weatherwize is made to withstand the wear-and-tear of everyday living while maintaining its sharp brilliance and soft feel.
