Proven as a key international trade show for a third consecutive year, MAISON&OBJET Outdoor_Indoor will again bring all the comfort of home into the open air at its Sept. 4-8 showing at Paris Nord Villepinte. An all-new show design and the presence of the cream of the crop in design are expected.
The show attracts approximately 3,000 attendees and provides a privileged space for designers to express themselves through accessorizing and furnishing gardens, decks and balconies, as well as showing related products, such as spas.
The outdoors no longer concerns only specialized producers, but has been enriched with products from leading figures in high-end furniture. Bruno Houssin Design offers the comfort of a well-equipped kitchen outdoors, and lighting goes outside at Cora with the Great lamp from Ares.
New exhibitors include Andreu World, Bacsac, Fendi Outdoor, Jardin de Ville, Kettal, Massant, Mezza Style, Myyour, OI Side, PB Casual and Sutherland Perennials.
Design devoted to outdoor development is in the full flush of growth. It is expressed by a great variety of techniques. Those range from braiding with a rattan effect in B&B Italia’s Crinoline Collection, aluminum paired with extreme outdoor leather presented by PB Casual’s Bourbon collection, batch-dyed polyethylene at Myyour and pleated sheet iron at Matière grise, showing high-quality shade sails with Sun & Vela.
In this sector, innovation is as technical as it is formal, which is proven by the surprising collection of garden tables from Mezza Style, which integrates nature into furniture. Fermob defends respect for the environment, harmony with nature and sustainable development. Ateliers Ouverts responds to the aging population by producing therapeutic window boxes and ergonomic furniture that combines the qualities of meaning and form.
Alongside these design propositions, such as the extension of the Oskar range at Sifas, more classic propositions are emerging through outdoor collections from Massant or Sutherland Perennials with design by Philippe Starck and John Hutton. Stark and more than 20 other acclaimed designers including Jean-Marie Massaud, Patrick Jouin, Dirk Wynans and Wim Segers will be present at the following exhibitors’ stands: B&B Italia, Coro, Domani, Ego Paris, Emu, Exteta, Extremis, Fermob, Kettal, Sifas, Sutherland, Perennials, Tribu, Viteo>Outdoors during the next Maison&Objet outdoor_indoor.
The show is sponsored by SAFI, a subsidiary of the Chambre Syndicale des Ateliers d'Art de France and Reed Expositions France. For more information, call +33 (0)1 44 29 02 00, e-mail info@safisalons.fr
