JANUS et Cie’s Forest Armchair won the Lillian B. Winchester Best of Show award in the 2008 Design Excellence Awards during the recent Casual Market. The chair also won in the category of cast metal.

A record number of designs were entered into this year’s contest. As he prepared to announce the winners of the Design Excellence Awards, Dudley Flanders, president of the International Casual Furnishings Association, emphasized the importance of design innovation.
