Eagle One introduces Kid Series of eco-friendly Greenwood Furniture

Eagle One announces the introduction of its new Kid Series of Greenwood Furniture.

Constructed of Greenwood recycled plastic, the Eagle One line of outdoor furniture is sturdy and virtually maintenance free. The material holds up well to the demanding needs of children at play.

“Kids love to be treated like adults, so we designed a scaled down version of our outdoor furniture,” said Philip Thompson, president of Eagle One. “Modeled after some of our most popular pieces, we offer rockers, deck chairs, tables and picnic tables in primary colors as well as in any of the Greenwood colors we offer.”

For more than 14 years, Eagle One has designed and manufactured its entire casual furniture product line from the environmentally friendly 100% recycled High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE). The company’s Greenwood recycled plastic lumber outperforms most other materials in areas subject to harsh weather conditions, according to a company press release. The high-density plastic, recycled from milk bottles, does not suffer from the problems associated with wood, metal and other materials. It is impervious to most chemicals, does not rot, rust, corrode or require painting. The color is consistent throughout the lumber, making it resistant to color fading.

In addition to the Kid Series, the eco-friendly Greenwood line of furniture includes many furnishings such as the new Stackable recycled plastic chair, Brisbane deck/pool box, planter boxes, window boxes, chaise lounge chairs, tables and chairs, as well as the popular rocking chair. All of Eagle One’s products can be customized by its in-house manufacturing department.

The Kid Series includes the Adirondack rocker and chair, Alexandria rocker and chair, Kid’s table, Kid’s chair, and Kid’s picnic table. The items are available in kid-friendly primary colors of red, yellow and blue, as well as others including green, black, weathered wood, light gray, cedar and white.
