Glen Raven Custom Fabrics has signed a licensing agreement with Kravet Fabrics to market printed Sunbrella fabrics. A new collection of 24 patterns debuted in July during Showtime in High Point, N.C.
"This program will bring together two of the fabric industry's leading brands, Kravet and Sunbrella, through our new KravetSoleil brand of performance fabrics," said Burt Kaplan, president of Kravet's Portfolio Textiles division. "The demand for high-quality prints in the outdoor market remains strong, and our partnership with Glen Raven will enable us to meet this need with a product that also brings strong brand equity."
The KravetSoleil brand includes decorative woven Sunbrella fabrics from Glen Raven and licensee Sunbury Textile Mills in addition to Portfolio prints on Sunbrella. Kravet is also featuring woven and printed Sunbrella fabrics under its high-end Lee Jofa brand.
