Kreiss launches gallery program

Ribbon cutting in Las Vegas to be held with tennis pros Andre Agassi and wife Stefanie Graf

Known for its California Look blending understated quality and casual comfort, the 68-year-old family owned Kreiss home furnishings company is launching a gallery program in its newest showroom on the first floor of Building B at the Las Vegas Market.

The Kreiss family will co-host a ribbon-cutting on Jan. 29 with tennis pros Andre Agassi and his wife Stefanie Graf, who are partners in Kreiss’ new Agassi Graf Collection. Agassi bought a Kreiss sofa after he won his first major tournament, Wimbledon in 1992. In the following years, Agassi and Graf became devotees to the Kreiss aesthetic and talked about designing a custom collection for their own home. Instead, they decided to partner with the Kreiss family to launch an indoor-outdoor furniture collection being introduced at the Las Vegas World Market Center, Jan. 29-Feb. 2. “It felt like a natural extension of our long-standing relationship,” Kreiss President Mike Kreiss said. The Agassi Graf Collection combines the couple’s differential design sensibilities and features pieces for the dining room, living room and poolside. “While the collection is chic and sophisticated, the strength and texture of the materials lend themselves to an indoor-outdoor lifestyle,” Agassi said. “In fact, Kreiss upholsteries are known for their refined quality so we trusted that Mike could work with us to develop and indoor and outdoor collection that would stand the test of time, weather and children.” In addition to its classic California look, the showroom also will feature contemporary, neoclassic, Mediterranean and other styles. With 20 showrooms nationwide, Kreiss is looking to expand its distribution in select markets by offering gallery opportunities to a limited number of retailers.
