New Hen-Feathers Collection licenses with Ladybug and The Haeger Potteries

New products introduced for Golden Rabbit, Brass Baron licensees

-- Casual Living, 12/7/2006 7:46:00 AM

Garden lifestyle industry catalysts, designers Tad and Beth Featherman, have signed a license with Ladybug, a manufacturer of fine garden accents, and The Haeger Potteries. The Feathermans’ Hen-Feathers Collection's trademark style is sophisticated, subtle timeless designs, inspired by antiques, architecture, nature and whimsy.

Ladybug plans to augment its line of outdoor decor with the introduction of Hen-Feathers’ “The Classics.”The collection will start with 45 original Hen-Feathers classic designs, and will include the stately Magnolia Urn, Scallop Shell Wall Fountain, original bunny and children sculptures and finely sculpted wall decor. The collection will be introduced in January 2007.

“We are very excited about working with Ladybug and bringing back so many of our classic designs,” said Beth Featherman, Hen-Feathers co-designer. “We have received so many requests for so many of the early designs that it will be great to be able to bring them to market again.”

The Haeger Potteries also has asked Tad and Beth Featherman to design two new traditional collections with a twist. The collections will include vases, arrangers, finials, wall tiles, compotes and more. The line will launch in late spring.

Additionally, the Golden Rabbit’s babyware sales of the Hen-Feathers Collection Bunny Family are soaring. Golden Rabbit is renaming “Babyware” to “Bunnyware.” FAO Schwartz has begun to carry the full line of all of the Hen-Feathers Collection Bunny Family styles.

The Brass Baron also will add four Hen-Feathers Collection heirloom sculptures to its line of bronze garden sculptures and fountains. The graceful Windy sculpture is of a young girl reaching toward the sky with a bird in her hand, available in both a medium and a large sized sculpture. The Boy with Mr. Leapy is a fun design inspired by Tad Featherman’s son who once befriended a toad in his back yard. Brass Baron will introduce the items in January as well.
