Jackie Barish has been promoted as senior vice president of The Chair King, Inc.
“With over 30 years of experience in the casual furniture industry, my sister Jackie continues to add needed value to our company,” said David Barish, president of The Chair King.
The Chair King recently acquired controlling interest in Furniture Concepts LLC, which began reopening Fortunoff Backyard Stores in New York and New Jersey on Feb. 1.
Celebrating 60 years in business, The Chair King is the largest casual furniture retailer in Texas currently with 18 retail stores in Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas and Fort Worth. It also operates a design/contract showroom in Houston under the name Leisure Collections. The Chair King also will open Weber Grill Shoppes in each of its showrooms this spring.
