Leader’s to open 19th retail store

Expects store to be open by August

Despite a challenging economic climate, Leader’s Casual Furniture will strengthen its Florida market share by opening a new retail location in Southwest Florida.
     
      The Largo, Fla.-based retail chain expects its 19th retail outlet to be open for business before the end of August. All of its stores are supported from a single 120,000-sq.-ft. distribution center. 
     
      “Growing steady, with systems in place to keep control, and always keeping a watchful eye on expenses has allowed us to take advantage of a great opportunity to expand our market segment,” according to Tim Newton, managing director. “We will be here for our customers for the long term and are excited to make it more convenient for our existing southeast Naples and Marco Island clientele to visit a Leader’s showroom. Studying the demographics, this new location will no doubt complement our North Naples/Bonita Springs location and help promote our Leader’s Casual Furniture brand.”
