What's likely to be in a new upscale home in 2015?

A new study by the National Assn. of Home Builders, based on polls of architects, designers, marketers and manufacturers bodes well for the casual outdoor industry. They say it will have:

  • a front porch, rear porch, patio and deck

  • an outdoor kitchen with grill, sinks, refrigerator, cooking island

  • an outdoor fireplace, pool/spa, audio/TV equipment, lighting
