Iron Decor reorganizes

Closes showroom, distribution center

Staff -- Casual Living, 8/1/2007 12:00:00 AM

Iron Decor, manufacturer of garden, fireplace and patio accessories and iron furniture, announced it will no longer be serving the specialty retail business and will focus on growth opportunities with its mass merchant accounts.

As a result, the Hidalgo, Texas-based company will close its distribution center when warehouse merchandise is sold out. As of June 20, its Atlanta showroom closed.

"Under our present reorganization, the product development division will serve as an important tool for growing our existing business with most of our existing major accounts," said Carolina Sosa, owner of Iron Decor. "Primarily, this reconstructed matrix will help us focus on the specific goals of each mass merchant and also strengthen our business relationship with our buyers."
