Pool | Spa | Patio Expo sets new 2010 show dates

Show to be held Nov. 3-5

Originally scheduled to take place two weeks later, the 2010 International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo will now be held Nov. 3-5, 2010, in the Bayside Halls at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev. The educational conference will be held Oct. 31-Nov. 5.      

Responding to feedback from exhibitors and attendees, show management shifted the show so the dates would not overlap the 2010 Piscine show in Lyon, France.  

"It’s really tough to get dates in Las Vegas, but we worked really hard to secure dates earlier in the month," said Donna Bellantone, director of the Expo. "We firmly believe that these new dates will better meet the needs of our attendees and exhibitors who also participate in the Piscine show."

The 2010 Expo will showcase the latest products, materials, equipment and services relevant to the pool, spa and backyard living industry. The event will attract a worldwide audience of residential and commercial builders/contractors, retailers, service companies, landscape architects/designers and other ancillary industry professionals.
 
The show’s educational conference will feature more than 60 seminars focused on techniques and applications, as well as business performance topics.  Additional high-level, targeted educational opportunities will be available through the Executive Academy, the APSP Builders Institute, APSP Technical Service Institute and Genesis 3 Design Schools.

“Hosting the show earlier in the month is a positive move,” said Bill Weber, president and CEO of APSP, the show's official sponsor.  “The new dates will alleviate any problems with overlapping Piscine. I encourage all of our members to embrace the move."

The 2009 International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo is being held this week, Nov. 16-18, in the Bayside Halls at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
