FYI

-- Casual Living, 4/1/2009 12:00:00 AM

BRIEFLY.....

According to Casual Living and HGTV’s 2008 Consumer Views survey, a key component of an outdoor space is an outdoor dining set – more than three-fifths of consumers own an outdoor dining set per survey results and a whopping 85% of consumers would include an outdoor dining set in their dream outdoor space.

This presents a tremendous opportunity for retailers. According to statisticians at Easy Analytic Software Inc., outdoor dining set sales are expected to increase nationally by 12.9% over the next five years. So as the warmer seasons approach and consumers begin to spend more time outside, retailers should look for creative yet strategic marketing strategies to draw consumers to those outdoor dining sets. After all, consumers want them!
