The trend of extending indoor spaces outdoors has exploded with consumers. Many have made their outdoor space the place to be for relaxation and entertaining.
According to Casual Living and HGTV’s exclusive 2008 Consumer Views Survey, consumers living in the South and West use their outdoor patio the most while those living in the Northeast and Midwest entertain most often on a deck. With spring on the way, many consumers are beginning to think about their outdoor decor.
According to a new survey conducted by sister publication Furniture/Today and HGTV, more than one-half of consumers want to redecorate their outdoor space in 2009.
