Meadowcraft adds visual creative designer

Ashely Tucker to handle visual presentation at trade shows, new customer Visual Merchandising Program

-- Casual Living, 8/12/2008 12:31:00 PM

Ashley Tucker joined Meadowcraft Aug. 25, in the new position of visual creative designer. Tucker will be responsible for the visual presentation of the company’s direction in the Chicago showroom, theNational Hardware Show and contract shows. She will also be responsible for the development of a new customer Visual Merchandising Program.

“Ashley’s new position highlights the company’s continued emphasis on the ‘creative visual presentation’ of our furniture,” said Timothy M. LeRoy, Meadowcraft’s executive vice president of sales. “As the entire industry evolves, Meadowcraft plans to continue to demonstrate its commitment to the tasteful and stylish visual presentation of casual furniture on the dealers’ retail floor. In working with Meadowcraft, most recently as an intern, Tucker and the entire Meadowcraft Creative Team were able to transform the new Meadowcraft space in the Merchandise Mart from a traditional shopping gallery showroom, to what we believe to be a more flowing and experiential presentation showroom.”

Tucker recently graduated from Samford University with a degree in interior design with a minor in art. She will relocate to Chicago, where she will have an office and studio inside the Meadowcraft space in the Merchandise Mart starting in August.

“As we continue to evolve and position Meadowcraft for the future, Ashley will provide a tremendous amount of additional creative and visual resources that both our dealers and the company will require in the ever expanding and exciting outdoor casual furniture marketplace,” LeRoy said.
