Janelle Lampp licenses brand to CMI

Janelle Lampp, a consultant to the rug and home textile industries for 18 years, launched her own brand — JANELLEStyle — earlier this year, and new designs were on tap for her licensees at the High Point market last month.

The first licensee to sign Lampp was Colonial Mills, Inc., for a line of indoor-outdoor rugs.

Colonial Mills' Simply Home collection embraces Lampp's playful style with unique braided rugs that can be used in a variety of settings, from outdoor porches to bathrooms and kitchens. In the collection are six patterns: Boardwalk, Rally, Frame It, Line Dance, Pinstripe Border and Hopscotch. All are made from 100% polypropylene, can be custom colored from a bank of 23 shades and are offered in oval, round, rectangle, square, octagon and runner shapes.
