Copper Beach Furniture debuts Jeep collection

Staff -- Casual Living, 7/1/2005 12:00:00 AM

Jeep Consumer Products has signed Copper Beach Furniture — a division of Ontario, Canada-based RW Industries — to develop a line of outdoor furniture. Built with the same qualities consumers have to come to expect from a Jeep vehicle — function, durability and strength — the outdoor furniture collection is a fitting addition to the collection of Jeep Consumer Products.

"Jeep Consumer Products continue to deliver fresh, innovative products which reflect the outdoor, adventure lifestyle that's associated with the Jeep brand," said Debra Joester, president and CEO of The Joester Loria Group. "We are confident that the uniquely designed and high-quality Jeep outdoor furniture line will contribute to the continued success of Jeep Consumer Products at retail."

The Jeep outdoor furniture collection will offer two lines, Rustic and Mission. The Rustic line will feature a dining set including a dining table, which extends up to seven feet, two armchairs and six side chairs. The line is constructed of acacia wood and finished with refined polyure-thane to enhance the natural grain of the wood. The Mission line, constructed of keruing wood, offers a tighter grain and few knotholes, includes a lounge chair, love seat and coffee table.

"We're very excited to be introducing our line of Jeep outdoor furniture," Copper Beach Furniture President Jennifer Mulholland said. "Building on the Jeep tradition of durability, ruggedness and style, we've developed a collection that will enable consumers to enjoy the Jeep experience in their own backyards."

STREET DEDICATION — City and state officials, employees and friends gathered at One Minson Way, Montebello, Calif., last month for a street renaming ceremony in honor of Minson Corporation, parent company of Mallin Casual Furniture and Pastel Furniture. CEO Kenneth Chen cuts the ribbon during the ceremony.
