R.H. Peterson awards top distributors at HPB Expo

R.H. Peterson celebrated its 60th anniversary by sponsoring an awards dinner with a 1960s theme during the Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Expo in Reno, Nev.

The band Yesterday brought Beatles music back to entertain guests at the Grand Sierra Hotel. Not to revert to the past, R.H. Peterson executive Leslie Bortz shared his perspective on today’s challenging economic times.

“It’s been a tough year, but we’re going to make it. We are the survivors and we are the ones who are going to make a difference,” Bortz told the audience just before presenting awards to the manufacturer’s top distributors from across the nation. “People like us, working hard, are going to be the ones to make this country come back. This country depends on its small businessmen, and we want to make sure you know we appreciate our dealers.”
