Weekends Only adds outdoor furniture

St. Louis retailer’s five stores open Friday-Sunday

-- Casual Living, 2/23/2010 3:56:00 PM

Weekends Only Furniture will begin offering outdoor patio furniture for the first time ever this spring at its five St. Louis area locations.

The retailer will carry a complete lineup of outdoor furniture with everything from chairs and tables that can be mixed and matched to complete wrought iron and cast aluminum sets with coordinating cushions and umbrellas. These new products are expected to hit stores starting in early March.

“Weekends Only is very excited to offer outdoor furniture for the first time,” said Michele Lynn, vice president of merchandising and marketing. “We’ve found that backyards, decks and balconies have become an extension of indoor living spaces in warmer weather. This is a great opportunity for Weekends Only to meet more of our customers’ needs by stocking quality indoor and outdoor furniture at affordable prices.”

Founded in 1997, Weekends Only Furniture Outlet has five locations in the St. Louis metro area including Affton, Bridgeton, Fairview Heights, Mid Rivers and South County. The company’s concept is unique — only open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to save customers money while offering special buys and truckload purchases.
