Industry veteran Burton Harmon dies

Former retailer and sales manager Burton Harmon, 88, formerly of St. Louis, Mo., died Jan. 26, at the home of his daughter in Greenville, Mich.
Following a career with retailer J.L. Hudson in Detroit, he worked as a sales manager or sales representatives for several furniture companies including Woodard and Charleston Forge.
A WWII Army veteran, Harmon is survived by his wife Audrey, four children and two stepchildren. A memorial service is scheduled for Feb. 20 at Hurst Funeral Home in Greenville. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association, the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice.
