Scott Mayes joined Outdoor Lifestyleas national sales manager, in charge of specialty and contract sales for the cast aluminum furniture manufacturer.

Mayes brings nearly 20 years of experience in the casual industry with five years in retail, 12 years as an independent manufacturers representative and most recently as national sales manager at Kettler International.

Brown Jordan International has realigned its specialty retail sales team. John Balch was named the Central region sales manager, responsible for Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and the Florida panhandle.

Regional Manager Steve Elton, a long time Brown Jordan sales representative, has assumed additional territories, including New York, all of New England and Eastern Canada.

Bob Ryan was named Western region sales manager. A former national sales manager for Brown Jordan, for the last two years Ryan has served as the BJI sales representative covering Arizona and New Mexico. Ryan will continue to serve as a rep and supervise sales in the Western region.

Kent Hormuth, BJI's Western region sales vice president, has accepted a new position as vice president sales and marketing in Southern California. Hormuth will continue to supervise sales efforts in Southern California as well as work with the marketing and product development departments.

Andrew Grzybowski has joined insulated cup manufacturer Tervis Tumbler Company as vice president of operations. He brings more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing, operations management, business development, sales and marketing.

Frank's Nursery & Crafts announced Walter Spokowski has been named president and chief executive officer. Spokowski joins Franks from Wood-workers Warehouse, where he had been president and CEO since October 2001.
