Brown Jordan International named Bill Brown as president, Specialty Retail and Outdoor Contract Division. Brown will report to Gene Moriarty, BJI president and CEO, and will be responsible for leading sales, marketing and product development for the division. Brown brings more than 24 years of experience in the outdoor furniture industry. Most recently, he served as president of Pride Family Brands. Previously, Brown held several positions at BJI, including vice president product development and marketing and vice president specialty retail sales.

Paddock Pool and Spas has hired John Ball as senior vice president of retail merchandising to lead new retail store growth initiatives. Paddock opened its newest location in September in Chandler, bringing its number of stores in the Phoenix area to nine plus two stores in Las Vegas. Plans to open several stores in the Phoenix and Las Vegas markets are underway.

Messe Frankfurt, Inc. named David Audrain as incoming president to succeed Roland Bleinroth, who will retire by Jan. 1 after 10 years as president.

Galtech International named Blake Martin and Gray Dobbins of Dunwoody, Ga., as 2005 Sales Representative of the Year during the annual sales meeting in Chicago. The sales team of John Benner and Ron O'Meara, representing southern California, also were recognized for outstanding sales achievement for a third consecutive season.

Deanne & Wayne & Co. was named as the agency of record for New River Casual Furniture. The company will be responsible for corporate and retail marketing and advertising and public relations.

The American Society of Interior Designers Florida West Coast Chapter/Team Sarasota recently recognized Carter Grandle's Cambridge Double Chaise Lounge as Best New Product during its annual Design Resources event in Sarasota, Fla. The lounge is part of the new Cambridge Collection designed by Michael Burridge and is available though both Carter Grandle and Kitty Hawk Distribution.

Galtech recognized members of its sales team recently, including (clockwise) John Benner, Ron O'Meara, Gray Dobbins and Blake Martin.
