New River adds Homemaker outdoor rugs

New River Casual Furniture is now the exclusive distributor of Homemaker outdoor rugs.

New River, a manufacturer of handcrafted leisure furniture imported from Brazil, will promote eight rugs from Homemaker's Shenandoah Bay Collection, six rugs from its Lake Tahoe Collection and three from the Pebble Beach Stripe Collection.

"Since our products range from the warm, classic beauty of the traditional braided rug to today's high performance and indoor/outdoor interpretations, we are confident all of New River's customers can find rugs to complement their furniture," said Jeff Vaughn, Homemaker senior vice president of sales.

Homemaker has been making and selling braided rugs for more than 55 years. "Our rugs sell themselves," Vaughn said. "Impervious to the elements and made from 100% polypropylene yarns, they are weather-proof, mold and mildew resistant, UV-treated for long life under the harshest sun and wash off easily with a water hose. In addition, they are completely rever-sible."

New River Casual Furniture's corporate offices are located in Norfolk, Va.

Homemaker rugs come in a variety of colors and sizes. New River Casual Furniture plans to promote 17 rugs from the company.
