FastChek Pro Professional Pool Prescription System makes in-store testing fast, easy

Helps service customers quickly

-- Casual Living, 2/23/2009 1:47:00 PM

Hach Company, the maker of AquaChek pool and spa test strips, has introduced the FastChek Pro Professional Pool Prescription System, a complete in-store test system for pool and spa retailers.

FastChek Pro was developed for the business-savvy pool and spa retailer looking to service customers quickly and at a reasonable cost per test. This system couples an advanced test strip reader with software that can be customized for any line of chemical brand. The software also offers unique customizable features such as shopping lists and coupons to help retailers optimize sales. The system measures the most commonly tested parameters, including bromine, chlorine, pH, alkalinity, hardness, nitrates, borate, iron and copper. Test results for other chemistries can be added as well.

FastChek Pro keeps in-store testing simple and is less technique-dependent than other leading systems. FastChek Pro is easy to use, with results for 12 chemistries in just four minutes. Other unique features include the ability to import/export customer databases, networking capabilities and the ability to set up tests in advance.

“Customers have been asking us for years to introduce our own in-store testing system that would be as fast, easy-to-use and reliable as our top-selling AquaChek pool and spa test strips,” said Jon Brew, business unit director of Hach/ETS. “FastChek Pro delivers these benefits and more.”

The FastChek Pro Professional Pool Prescription System comes with the meter and software, a set of test strips, a user’s guide with detailed instructions, a convenient reference card, and a window cling to let customers know that in-store testing is offered. Refills for the test strips will be sold separately.
