Carter Grandle buys tabletop manufacturer

Staff -- Casual Living, 10/1/2005 12:00:00 AM

Webb G. Carter, chairman and CEO of Carter Grandle, purchased William Andrews Designs, Inc., a table manufacturing company specializing in natural and faux stone alternative tabletops.

Following the purchase, Carter relocated the facility from 14,000 square feet of manufacturing space into a state-of-the-art 47,000-sq.-ft. facility in Miami.

"Our focus during this transition period has been the installation of our new equipment and restructuring our management and design teams," Carter said. "We are very excited about the season to come — expect to see great offerings in the marketplace from William Andrews."
