As economy wavers, Hansen’s prices hold steady

In an effort to help retailers handle the challenging economic environment, Hansen Corporation announced it will maintain its 2007 pricing through Sept. 15.
Hansen president Baozhuang Tian said an upbeat premarket and a strong corporate infrastructure helped him make the decision to hold his current pricing.
“Due to the fact that we own our foundries and factories, we have not been hit with the high across-the-board price increases many dealers have been seeing this year from other suppliers,” Tian said. “We have always felt we were competitively priced, but after hearing the stories of increases we want to hold our prices at last year’s rates until after the Casual Show in September. We’re working really hard to control our costs and material expenses so we can offer the best prices to our dealers.”
Hansen produces fine casual living cast aluminum furniture, which will be shown in suite 16-108 of the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. For more information, call (713) 640-1168 or visit hansencasual@yahoo.com. Existing dealers can also get details from their reps.
