Designer Randy Ouzts partners with Raz Imports

Garden shop owner and designer Randy Ouzts has partnered with Raz Imports, wholesale importer of seasonal holiday decorations and home accents, for several new lines making a debut during the summer markets, including the Dallas, L.A., Chicago and Atlanta gift shows.

The premier line, A Vegetable Medley, is based on vegetable art by Ouzts and is translated in a collection of contemporary ceramic tabletop and accent pieces, also including silk florals, battery candles, linens, storage boxes and wall art.

"We are very excited to be working with Randy," said Kathy Cook Compton with Raz Imports. "He always has a fresh perspective on a traditional subject, which fits our customer base perfectly. A Vegetable Medley has a fresh cuisine feel versus a Country French or Italian emphasis."

Accenting the vegetable motif is a line of metal twig designs that Ouzts had previously marketed. "He had this in the market place several years ago and we have taken it, enhanced it and applied the unique look to new formats," Compton said.

The second line is Four Seasons of the Garden, a scented candle collection that includes eight scents that reflect each of the seasons of the garden, such as Winter Herbs, Berrywine and English Tulip.

In addition to the eight seasonal scents, two Christmas and two kitchen scents will be introduced to complement the Vegetable Medley line.

A Vegetable Medley Collection includes a line of ceramic tabletop pieces and a complementary candle and twig line.
