Briefly.....
As consumers prepare themselves for summer's outdoor activities, durability seems to be a significant element in the outdoor dining set purchase. According to Casual Living and HGTV's exclusive 2008 Consumer Views Survey, 99% of responding consumers picked durability as their top feature choice when deciding to purchase an outdoor dining set.
With one-fourth of consumers anticipating an outdoor dining set purchase this year, it's important for specialty retailers to remember the top three reasons a consumer would be willing to shop their store first.
Consumers are looking for:
-
Wide product selection,
-
Stores with a good reputation,
-
Merchandise that is in stock or available soon.
Consumer credit outstanding
