Dedon’s Yin Yang recognized

Yin Yang won best design in the Seating Group or Series - Lounge category

Dedon, manufacturer of indoor/outdoor furniture handcrafted of Dedon Hularo fiber, announced that its newest signature collection, Yin Yang, was the recipient of a design award from the International Interior Design Association and Hospitality Design magazine during the 11th annual IIDA/Hospitality Design Product Design Competition at the 2007 Hospitality Design Expo May 9-12 in Las Vegas. 

IIDA partners with Hospitality Design Expo on the educational component of the show and sponsors this annual product design competition.

According to the IIDA organization, this year’s winners represented an exciting group of products lauded for innovative and aesthetic properties, including direct hospitality applications. Yin Yang, designed by Nicolas Thomkins exclusively for Dedon, won best design in the Seating Group or Series - Lounge category of the competition. Janus et Cie, Dedon's exclusive U.S. distributor, exhibited at the trade show and received the award on Dedon’s behalf.
