Kaemingk International to open flagship showroom at AmericasMart

Kaemingk USA, the United States division of European holiday, garden and home décor company Kaemingk International, will expand its Atlanta corporate presence with a flagship showroom at AmericasMart.
The new Kaemingk USA showroom, double the size of its previous space, is among many additions expanding AmericasMart's rug, gift and apparel franchise, cementing its role as the world's global marketplace with more than 50 years of planned tradeshow development.
Beginning with the January 2013 Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, Kaemingk USA will be located in Building 1 on Floor 18, showrooms B-5 and B-7.
"We are excited to welcome Europe's largest holiday, garden and home décor company to an anchor space on our 18th floor," said Andrew Patton, vice president of leasing for holiday, floral and home décor. "It's another endorsement of AmericasMart's position as the go-to marketplace for the industry."
More than half of Kaemingk's complete line of products will be available, and the company will offer a significantly lower minimum purchase order requirement for business written in the new showroom. Previously, Kaemingk's American customers were required to travel to Holland to purchase in full container load quantities. Kaemingk's full product range includes more than 15,000 items.

Kaemingk has a long history as an industry leader in style and color, fashion, breadth of product selection and customer service in Europe, and now in the U.S. The company's customers have historically enjoyed an average purchase order fill ratio of 98% each holiday season.
"Kaemingk's primary customer base and target market in Europe has always been the independent garden center and specialty retailer," Durkin said. "Kaemingk USA will now serve independent garden centers and specialty retailers across this country as well."
With a 70-year history in the business, Netherlands-based Kaemingk distributes its collection in more than 30 countries. The company's product lines are created by a team of 24 product developers and buyers.
