The British group has been organized by the Gardenex export federation, which has a British garden and leisure industry information booth (Booth 10432) in the British pavilion, offering a comprehensive range of services to overseas buyers including a free-of-charge British garden and leisure product sourcing service. It is the 17th consecutive year that Gardenex has brought British groups of exhibitors to the National Hardware Show.
The British exhibitors:
Killyleagh Box Company (Booth 10331) is exhibiting its GrowRings range of flat-packed, instant assembly raised beds that provide an easy and quick way to set up colorful flower displays or grow-your-own vegetables.
Laura Ashley Garden/Tenax UK Ltd (Booth 10329) is showing a wide selection of product categories including gloves, tools, wellington boots, clogs, aprons, kneeling cushions, picnic baskets and barbecue sets. Also on show is a new and exclusive range of umbrellas, garden hats, hanging baskets, containers and decorative products.
SOCKITBOX (Booth 12077) is the U.S. brand name for the popular DRiBOX weatherproof electrical connection box. The simplistic outdoor electrical connection box features an open and close lid that does not require the use of tools. It is portable and can be re-used for different tasks year-round, such as connecting holiday and low voltage lighting, garden appliances and water features.
Wood Fired Ovens by Jamie Oliver (Booth 10430) is introducing a new Jamie Oliver compact wood-fired oven complete with stand, flue and paddle. The pre-cast wood fired ovens are designed for home and garden use.
VegTrug (Booth 10428) is a raised, self-contained vegetable garden, suitable for growing vegetables in the smallest of spaces. The VegTrug is exported to 15 countries and has well-established sales in the UK. Also on show is a new range of greenhouse frames and covers.
Gardenex (Booth 10432) is the export federation for the British garden and leisure industry. It has extensive experience of dealing with the North American market, which is rated within the Top 3 export markets for member companies of the Gardenex federation. Since its formation 50 years ago, Gardenex has built up close contacts within the North American lawn and garden industry, and its British information booth at the NHS has become the focal point for international buyers wishing to source garden, leisure and pet products from the 150 members of the federation. It also provides international buyers with other valuable information on the British lawn and garden sector. Buyers can also find out more about the Gardenex Buyer/Supplier Meeting days that have proved beneficial to U.S. buyers when finding innovative lines and new suppliers. In addition, there will be information on Glee, the UK's trade show for the garden sector.
Gardenex member companies exhibiting products in their U.S. distributors' booths at the NHS include:
Earthmaker (home composting products) in the Exaco Trading Corp booth (12039);
