C & B tests Entertaining catalog

Reflecting an initiative to fine-tune niche marketing, Crate & Barrel's new Entertaining catalog is already in the mail to customers.
The colorful 68-page catalog focuses on outdoor and indoor dining products, including furniture, table linens, dinnerware and more.
Crate & Barrel had recently divided its main catalog into one for entertaining product only and another for furniture and home decorating, which shipped earlier this year.
The company will wait to determine when to schedule the next Entertaining catalog after gauging customers' reactions to this one.
