Lloyd/Flanders makes marketing shift

To better position Lloyd/Flanders for the ongoing outdoor wicker boom, Dudley Flanders announced to employees and retailers a marketing shift in product lineup.
"These are exciting times at Lloyd/Flanders as we are now offering vinyl wicker products to complement our traditional Lloyd Loom furniture," Flanders said. "The increase in the distribution of these product lines has driven a decision to exit the traditional sling and cushion aluminum business, as well as Bay Breeze, to concentrate on being the industry specialist in woven products of many types."
Dale Campbell, vice president of sales and marketing, said he is excited and supportive of this decision while "looking forward to a strong premarket and promising year."
At its eighth annual permarket July 11–15, Menominee, Mich.-based Lloyd/Flanders will introduce several collections including its Centennial Collection, marking 100 years of manufacturing fine wicker furnishings, and its licensed Wimbledon Collection.
