Victor Group takes Terrazzo fabrics outdoors

Brand widens Victor Group's presence at Casual Market

The outdoor market has seen unprecedented growth during the past several years as consumers who have spent years decorating and redecorating their interiors increasingly turn their energy to sprucing up the exterior living areas of their homes.

This increase in consumer demand is driving manufacturers to continually push for new designs and patterns to adorn a multitude of new outdoor products. Nowhere was this increasing demand more on display than at the Sept. 21-24 International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market in the Merchandise Mart in Chicago.

Casual Market visitors were among the first to discover a variety of new patterns and designs featured on products throughout the show from the Victor Group, a leading North American-based textile manufacturer. Selections from Victor’s Terrazzo brand, were found in showrooms of several prominent outdoor product manufacturers throughout the show including Gloster, Laneventure, Brown Jordan and Winston.

“As consumers begin to make better use of their al fresco space, many seek to make their outdoor furnishings an extension of the home's interior style and color scheme,” said Bea Spires, design director for Victor Residential. “Terrazzo features an explosion of tropical color combinations, reflecting the sun, ocean and blue skies. It’s the perfect collection for those who are looking for something that is highly functional and design driven.”
 
The Terrazzo brand, created for both indoor and outdoor furniture, includes a variety of designs that will create an atmosphere of elegant fun living. Manufactured with solution-dyed fiber technology, Terrazzo delivers resistance to fading, mildew and stains with advanced water and stain repellency.

In addition to performance, this brand is recognized for its broad, well coordinated palette of colors that compliment the energy and light of the outdoors. Terrazzo makes use of an assortment of chenilles, boucles and novelty yarns to enhance the texture and aesthetics of the product. Terrazzo has received attention for its breezy, casual-yet-elegant feel, earning placements with several of the industry’s leading casual outdoor furniture manufacturers.
