Veranda Classics to open new Merchandise Mart showroom

Will open during September Casual Market Chicago

CHICAGO– Veranda Classics by Foremost , outdoor furniture and fire pit specialty retail brand of Foremost Groups, Inc., will open a new showroom on the 16th floor of the Merchandise Mart for Casual Market Chicago, Sept. 16-19. The new showroom, #1650, boasts more than 9,000 square feet of space.

Veranda Classics will be introducing a variety of innovative new products at the Casual Market. Our new showroom on the 16th floor will more than double our current showroom space, allowing us to highlight our new table tops and gas fire pits featuring our exciting TerraFab Technology. Other market introductions will include six new collections in cast aluminum, sling and all-weather wicker designed by award winning designer Robert Taunton and his team,” said Daniel Jelley, senior VP, product design and development, outdoor division, Foremost Groups, Inc.

“With the growth that we have been experiencing over the last two seasons, the timing of this expanded showroom is ideal to bring more designs and collections to market to better support and meet the needs of our customer base,” said Tim Anderson, executive vice president of home division, Foremost Groups, Inc. “The showroom is only one of several long-term investments we are making that will demonstrate our deep commitment to the industry, business category and most importantly, our customers. We have so many exciting new things happening right now at Foremost that it will be anything but business as usual at the September Casual Market.”

Veranda Classics by Foremost offers traditional and contemporary outdoor furniture made of weather resistant materials. They offer a wide range of seating, table and fire pit options with a host of different frame finishes, table tops and materials.

“We are excited to welcome Veranda Classics to the Mart where they will join our impressive lineup of leading brands. The move to the Design Center from another facility further confirms that the Mart is the place to be for the Casual Furnishings industry and they couldn’t have picked a better time to open a permanent showroom during the September Casual Market,” said Byron Morton, VP of leasing, the Merchandise Mart.
