Agio to unveil new umbrella program at Vegas

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Agio USA will strengthen its lineup of outdoor living products with the launch of a new umbrella program at Las Vegas Winter Market.

For the first time, the outdoor home furnishings manufacturer will unveil a new program of cantilevered umbrellas, which is available for delivery starting this spring. At the Las Vegas show, Agio will feature a line of 10-ft. square and 11.5-ft. octagonal umbrella options, each in rust-free aluminum frames. Demonstrations will be ongoing throughout market week in Agio’s showroom (C-1295) to illustrate the ease of opening, closing and rotating these large umbrellas, said Andy Sokol, VP of sales, Agio.

Both cantilever styles can rotate 360 degrees and have automatic tilting features to block the sun at any time. Accessory lighting and Bluetooth speakers are also available.

Sokol described the innovative designs as being highly driven by the demands of the marketplace. “These are not just functional items; these umbrellas have become high-tech and ‘smart’ in many ways,” he said. “We’ll showcase an 11-ft. auto-tilt umbrella with LED lighting that can be plugged into outside outlets instead of battery-powered. The aluminum support pole offers a USB interface for powering handheld communications devices.”

According to Sokol, the umbrellas may be mixed with Agio’s furniture sets on container orders. “This unique product line gives our customers another opportunity to build sales with their consumers,” said Sokol.

The umbrella models are competitively priced and will be on display at Agio's Las Vegas showroom C-1295.
