BrandSource event set for Florida destination

Brand SourceORLANDO, Fla. – BrandSource, ProSource and TRIB membership will meet in Orlando for their yearly Summit & Expo, Feb. 28-Mar. 2 at the Marriott Orlando World Center. The exposition will provide an opportunity for members to learn about new developments in the retail sales industry while making valuable contacts within the BrandSource family of dealers.

This year’s Summit features a host of special events and appearances. In keeping with the tradition of past conventions, the Butch DuBose 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament is set for Feb. 28 and the 3rd Annual Women in Business Luncheon for Feb. 29, where a panel of successful female executives in the industry will field questions from the audience. For first time members, an attendees’ reception will introduce them to the management team and other members new to the BrandSource group.

The four-day convention includes non-business activities such as GE Sponsored Game Night on Mar. 1, which is hosted by our Young Professionals, and the GE and Electrolux sponsored 5K run/walk on Mar. 2 to benefit disabled American veterans.

Silicon Valley-based entrepreneur and writer Ben Casnocha will give the keynote address, focusing on concepts derived from his New York Times bestseller, The Alliance: Managing Talent in the Networked Age, co-authored with LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman.

In between events, informative seminars and training sessions are designed to educate members about new products and offer helpful tips on how to transform their businesses using new ideas and strategies.
