Uuni Company releases new product

UuniUuni, a producer of portable wood-fired ovens that takes its name from the Finnish word for ‘oven,’ released its new Uuni 2S wood-fired oven.

“We started this company back in 2011 with the goal of making it easy and affordable to make great pizzas,” said Kristian Tapaninaho, founder and designer, Uuni. “Our new Uuni 2S is just a continuation of this vision and is our first model to include a baking stone. Now, pizza lovers and foodies alike can make thin, chewy and crispy edged pizza exactly how the pizzaiolos of Naples cook their own.”

The Uuni 2S is the fourth model from the award-winning wood-fired oven company, with its addition of a stone baking board. With the same speed and heat as previous Uuni models, reaching temperatures of up to 900F, the Uuni 2S cooks pizzas in only 90 seconds.

In addition to the baking board, the new Uuni 2S also has a flame keeper. This patent-pending feature enables the oven to remain at high temperatures while reducing the amount of fuel needed. It also has sustainable wood pellets that give an authentic taste.
