Gloster names Reps of the Year
Charlie Hesson and Mathew Monserez recognized as top salesmen for 2010 season

South Boston, VA. — Charlie Hesson and Mathew Monserez were honored as Gloster's Sales Reps of the Year during GALA (Gloster Advanced Learning Academy), held June 17-18, 2010 at the company's headquarters in South Boston, Va. The two were recognized for their outstanding customer service and salesmanship.

"Gloster has an extremely talented group of sales reps, which makes getting this award a huge honor," said Hesson, who has represented Gloster in the retail sector since 2003. "My dealer base and the people at Gloster that I work with every day are the ones that make getting this award possible."
Monserez, awarded Rep of the Year for the contract sales division, has represented Gloster for 10 years. "The Gloster contract/hospitality offering remains the standard for quality custom outdoor furnishings," Monserez said. "I'd especially like to recognize my business partner, Bart Stitzel, as he was just as important to our Gloster sales."
Gloster President Eric Parsons said, "These men exemplify salesmanship. More importantly, in this fragile economy, they have found ways to positively impact our business and develop customers with extraordinary service and attention to detail. While Gloster is proud to say these things about our entire sales force, these guys have really stood out from the rest."
GALA is an annual event for Gloster Furniture Inc., one of the world's largest producers of teak outdoor furniture. Sales representative from across the United States and Canada visit the U.S. headquarters to preview new product for the upcoming season and discuss sales strategies and goals for the next year.
