Hotel, travel deals available for High Point Market

Attendees can register online for October show

Casual Living Staff -- Casual Living, 7/23/2010 9:55:23 AM

Registration for the fall High Point Market is now available on the market's redesigned Web site, www.highpointmarket.org.
The revamped site allows visitors to register for market, make reservations at more than 50 area hotels or purchase one of several travel packages through Travel Quest, a full-service travel agency.
"We continue to work with the area hoteliers to ensure our guests are getting the best possible rates," said Brian Casey, president and CEO of the High Point Market Authority. "Our site features over 50 area hotels that have partnered with us to offer our market guests substantial savings on accommodations."
Casey said the travel packages, which are new for the fall market, are aimed primarily at first-time attendees.
"We have been busy analyzing all of our market programs in order to provide money saving options for all of our guests," Casey said. "Through Travel Quest, we now offer a variety of travel packages that include assistance in airline travel and car rental in addition to incentives for extended stay in area hotels."
To make hotel reservations, go to the "plan your trip" tab on the home page and click on "accommodations." Attendees may also call Dawn Smith, director of market services, at 336- 869-1000.
The fall market takes place Oct. 16-21.
