During the event, HFA President Jeff Child will recognize the nominees before announcing this year’s winners. HFA’s Retailer of the Year award celebrates the outstanding achievements and progressive leadership of the association's home furnishings retailers.

The winners will be recognized and celebrated at the 2016 Home Furnishings Assn. Retailer of the Year awards gala, May 22 at the annual Home Furnishings Networking Conference in Long Beach, Calif.

“We invite the industry and media to join us in recognizing this year’s nominees and winners,” said Sharron Bradley, HFA’s CEO. “The Home Furnishings Assn. is proud to honor so many great members.”

HFA members in good standing were nominated by members of the home furnishings industry based on their exemplary service to the industry and to their communities and for providing an exceptional customer experience in their store. A selection committee – comprised of members of HFA’s Board of Directors, HFA members, manufacturers, service providers/suppliers and members of the industry media – reviewed the nominations.
