Harbour Outdoor 2011 collections to debut at Las Vegas Market

Indoor style meets outdoor durability as Balmoral and Clovelly blur the lines

Casual Living Staff -- Casual Living, 7/30/2010 8:50:00 AM

Harbour Outdoor will debut its 2011 Collections Clovelly and Balmoral at the Las Vegas Market, Aug. 2-6.

Named after two of Sydney's world-renowned beaches, the new additions add

depth and versatility to Harbour Outdoor's diverse lines of contemporary

outdoor furniture.

"Our 2011 collections take the biggest leap forward in modern outdoor

furniture we've seen in many years," said Alexander Eburne, CEO of Harbour

Outdoor North America. "Harbour Outdoor has yet again succeeded in designing

stunning, versatile and comfortable outdoor furniture to suit today's

discerning customer."
Previewing at upcoming events will be the modular Balmoral, a functional and

customizable sectional system offering diversity, options and comfort.

"The Balmoral Sectional is a jaw dropper, one of the rare creations that

leaves you wanting to know more and questioning how simplicity can be so

mesmerizing," Eburne said.

Balmoral is based on a unique assembly system with more than 15 possible

configurations, incorporating a vast array of colors and a removable cushion

cover system for ease of maintenance or upgrading of colors. Balmoral is

situated on a solid high-pressure compact laminate surface supported by laser

cut, tapered, powder coated aluminum legs. Polymer inserts support the

interchangeable back and arm cushions, which are enclosed in a removable

Sunbrella fabric cover featuring contrasting colored piping.

Also making its debut will be Clovelly, a high style, low maintenance

collection for the ultra contemporary user. On display will be Clovelly's

Dining Set, which fuses modern interior styling with outdoor living. The

flat-bar aluminum frame defines Clovelly as the lines sync in perfect form

between the table frame, surface and chairs.

The dining chairs are stackable and incorporate subtle design touches meant

to increase comfort, such as the "kick" at the base of the frame and the

increased angle of the back.

Clovelly's Dining Table broadens Harbour Outdoor's successful use of

high-pressure compact laminate surfaces by incorporating a drop shadow effect

seen by raising the surface above the frame, leaving the impression that the

surface is floating. The lines of the 4-inch wide flat bar legs form a

seamless synergy of style and function across the surface, as the laminate

has been cut to echo the symmetrical form of the legs.

Harbour Outdoor, a contemporary outdoor furniture manufacturer based in

Sydney, Australia, announced the opening of its North American distribution

headquarters in May. Harbour Outdoor will be showcasing its collections at

several trade shows throughout the year, including Maison & Objet, the

International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market in Chicago and the High

Point Market.

Harbour Outdoor offers an array of collections featuring varying styles,

colors, finishes and options. For more information, visit
