Catherine Frinier, principal and managing partner of FrinierAtelier and the Richard Frinier Collection, was announced as the recipient of WithIt's 2010 President's Award during the organization's annual educational conference and WOW Awards event in Charlotte, N.C.
WithIt is a pre-eminent women's leadership development network and its mission is to encourage and develop leadership, mentoring, education and opportunity for professional women in the home furnishings industries.
The annual WOW Awards event recognizes excellence in the industry and more specifically individuals and corporations that contribute to the success and growth of the home furnishings industry at large. The president's award is presented to a WithIt member who has made significant contributions to the development and support of the organization, while furthering its core causes.
Frinier is involved in the creative, licensing, marketing and publicity of products exclusively designed by her husband, well-known designer Richard Frinier. Their Los Angeles-based company is recognized worldwide for its work with elite and international brands focused on superior design for outdoor living, including Brown Jordan, Century Furniture, Dedon, Glen Raven/Sunbrella, Currey & Company, and others.
