Entries compete for ICFA's Lillian B. Winchester 'Best of Show' Award

Design Excellence AwardsMore than 90 entries in the 2010 Design Excellence Awards competition demonstrate the confidence of casual furnishings manufacturers, who were willing to invest in research and product development during the prolonged economic downturn.

The tubular aluminum category drew the largest number of entries for a third consecutive year. The rattan, wicker and woven category was a close second in number of entries.
The International Casual Furnishings Association will present Design Excellence Awards to the winners of each category and announce the Lillian B. Winchester "Best of Show" Award during the ICFA Awards Presentation, to be held from 6:30-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 22, at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago Ballroom. The Manufacturer of the Year Award will be reintroduced and the new ICFA Sales Representative of the Year Award will also be presented for the first time at the event.
