ITMA names Bob Patton as new president
Textiles group also adds three new members to the board

HIGH POINT, N.C. — A new president has been named and three industry executives have joined the 14-member board of the International Textile Market Assn., producer of the semiannual Showtime fabric shows and the ITMA Educational Foundation.
Patton, a vice president at P. Kaufmann, will serve a two-year term as ITMA president. He succeeds Steve Shelly of Classical Elements, who remains on the board for one term as ex-officio.
New board members are Mac Lane, American Silk Mills; Kiran Singh, Laura & Kiran; and Jeff Veach, Brentwood Textiles.
Returning board members are Ismail Arslan, De Leo Textiles; Robert Lachow, J.B. Martin Inc.; Wesley Mancini, Wesley Mancini Ltd.; Jesse Rector, The Leather Collection; Art Reilly, Van Lathem USA, and Robin Starnes, Covington Fabric & Design.
In addition, Jim Calhoun, Miles Talbott/Michael Thomas Furniture; Anne Hood, Century Furniture; and Regenia Payne, Taylor King Furniture, serve on the board as industry liaisons.
"We are very excited to have our new ITMA board members, and we wish to thank those who have served so diligently in the past," Patton said. "The new board looks forward to serving its membership and their needs in the coming future."
