Coastal Wood Products launches cypress wood furniture line

Coastal Wood Products, Inc. has unveiled a line of cypress lawn and garden outdoor furniture that includes a classic adirondack collection and its Garden Series. The latter includes planters, planter bench seats and garden stools.

"Our kiln-dried cypress wood creates a beautiful natural silvery-gray appearance when left to the elements yet provides a perfect surface for decorative paint or stains," said Tena Hudson, marketing director for Coastal Wood Products. "Each item is handcrafted for long life in the outdoors by skilled local North Carolina craftsmen."

In addition to the full-size adirondack chair is an ottoman, table and an adirondack love seat with a full 44-inch wide seat. Garden Series planters are available in multiple sizes and styles. The planter bench seats incorporate two of the classic planters and a connecting bench available in two lengths.

All adirondack chairs can easily convert to and from rockers with the addition of a rocker kit. Featuring a four-bolt connection, rocker assemblies can be easily added via pre-drilled holes. Kits enable stock to be converted at the retail level to accommodate customer requests. Chairs are shipped partially assembled with all hardware and instructions included.

"With the local production, our products are available to retailers on a quick-ship or stocking inventory basis," Hudson said. "We currently have inventory of all products ready for retailers looking for end of season reorders."
