MicroD Incorporated has formed a strategic alliance with rug and accessories manufacturer Surya, Inc., to redefine the online furniture and home furnishings shopping experience.

The collaboration will enable hundreds of leading furniture retailers to automatically present consumers with Surya rugs, pillows, throws and fine art packages that have been designer-matched to expertly coordinate with upholstered furniture items viewed by online shoppers.

The addition of more than 5,000 Surya products to the MicroD ePreVueTM online presentation and business intelligence solution promises to provide furniture marketers with breakthrough new online merchandising capabilities that will empower consumers to better design, coordinate and visualize their own rooms through the convenience of the internet.
